In the first chapter of Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, there are two systems. The first system is involuntary and requires no thinking. This controls what we think and does simple actions that require no thinking. Actions that are simple. The second system we control have to put effort in to do. The chapter tells us how they work together like when we tell a story and how we can’t have one without the other.
It wasn’t bad to read, a little hard to understand. If it were to talk about all of system 1 and then all of system 2 I think it would have been easier to read. Maybe make a story of it like they did in the beginning making it easier on the reader to relate.
