My writing process it quite simple. I start with the introduction even if it is a bit rough and continue on to the first body paragraph, knowing that I can go back to the introduction later. When I was younger I always started with the title of each essay I wrote but learned that I tried to base my essay around that and it took me longer so I stopped.
After I finish up with the body paragraphs, I reread the introduction to make that I didn’t add anything extra and that everything is in order to what was said. I also like to reword the introduction to create my conclusion. After rewording my intro for my conclusion I add a little bit more to finish up the essay.
When I started college I never went back to fix up my introduction. I also never would keep old drafts of my assignments nor fix them up enough to notice a difference between the first draft and the second or third draft.
